The Symmetrics Cycling Racing Team is made up of a thirteen-man squad which includes some of Canada's best cyclists. For the 2006 season, the men's professional team will focus on taking the top spot in the UCI Americas Tour improving on the team's third overall placing in 2005. 2006 season will take the men's squad to Brazil, El Salvador, Ireland, United Kingdom, USA and across Canada. The women's elite team has increased in size from four to five riders and will put their efforts into West Coast events in Canada and the USA. While racing abroad takes our team to another level of professional racing there is nothing more important to Symmetrics Cycling than competing in our own backyard. With the majority of our sponsors' (Symmetrics, Coast Capital Savings, Westlam, Northern Feather and Norco) head offices residing in the Vancouver, BC area it makes races like BC Superweek (Tour de Gastown, Tour de Delta and Tour de Whiterock), Yaletown Grandprix and the Westside Cycling Classic even more important.
