Born in Belleville Ontario, Will moved to Whistler at the age of 10. An avid back-country skier, he originally took up cycling as a summer "filler" sport. But, by the age of14, Will became addicted to racing. Since then, Will has logged some impressive results, including a bronze medal at the Canadian National Championships, winning the Tour de White Rock, and earning the red jersey for Best Young Rider at the Grand Prix Cyclistes de Beauce.

Will spends his free time partaking in outdoor sports, cooking, taking university courses part-time and simply enjoying the company of his girlfriend, friends and family.
